Tim Decker is originally from Jonesborough, TN now resides in Erwin Tn, with his wife Crystal. He started playing Piano at the age of 9. Progressing to Banjo and Guitar in his teen years he won 2nd place in the Kentucky State Banjo Championships in Middlesboro, Ky junior division. He attended East Tennessee State University (E.T.S.

Progressing to Banjo and Guitar in his teen years he won 2nd place in the Kentucky State Banjo Championships in Middlesboro, Ky junior division. He attended East Tennessee State University (E.T.S.U.) as a music major and performed with the E.T.S.U Bluegrass Program under Jack Tottle. He played country music on the road on semiprofessional circuits and showcased twice in Nashville, Tn for major record labels with 2 different country acts in the early 1990’s. In 2012 Tim was half of the duo of “Decker and Skinner and the Blue Ridge Cut Ups” which appeared on the Song of the Mountains television show with Tim White. During that time, he raised a family and worked until taking early retirement and reentered the genre of Bluegrass Music. Tim’s influences are Bill Monroe, John Duffey, Charlie Waller, Red Smiley, Tony Rice, Earl Scruggs, J.D Crowe and Don Reno.
Jimmie Rosenbaum resides in Maryville, Tn with his wife and 2 kids. Jimmie learned on the guitar playing early with the Barnes Family. Played piano all of his youth in church, Then progressed as a Dobro player with the “The Hilltop Boys” and “Crossroads” in the bluegrass gospel genre. Jimmie has recorded with “Chapel Valley Records” with

Lynn West resides in Tellico Tennessee with his wife. Started playing guitar in High School and then progressed into playing Mandolin as well as building Mandolins. He has performed in local bands such as “The Coker Creek Grass (1976-1988)”, “The Tellico River Company (1995-2014)” and now with “Tim Decker and Tennessee River”. His biggest influence has been John Duffey.
John Orr was born and raised in Robbinsville, North Carolina. He taught himself how to play guitar by listening to old Chuckwagon Gang Records. He currently resides in Maryville, Tn with his wife and three children. He has been playing with Local groups for over 30+ years. His biggest influence is Bill Millsap.
Tim Leo resides in Kingston Tn with his wife and son and has been playing Bass for 35 years. He has played with bands in Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee as well being a regular at several different Bluegrass jam venues in the Knoxville, Tn area. His biggest influence has been Ray Deaton.

Tim Decker has been a Banjo player for over 30 years bringing a lot of music in different spectrums. The dobro player for the band is Jimmie Rosenbaum from Maryville,TN. The mandolin player is Lynn West from Tellico,TN. Bass Player is Tim Leo from Kingston,TN, and the guitar player John Orr from Alcoa,TN.
